Alex St Urbain
The Alex St Urbain Center for Community Empowerment is dedicated to Mr Alex St Urbain who was a Mentor, Coach and Father Figure in the Cambria Heights and surrounding communities.
He created the Camaros Soccer Team, whose members are still in touch and are now carrying his legacy to helping the community through the Alex St Urbain Center for Community Empowerment.
About Us
The Alex St. Urbain Center for Community Empowerment is designed specifically for community-oriented individuals, business professionals and investors interested in building an organization that will assist low income, disenfranchised, and unorganized black communities take advantage of their collective political and economic potential.
We will address the income gap and wealth inequality that plagues low-income communities and provide the community’s inhabitants with tangible and practical ways of creating, as well as, retaining individual and generational wealth.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create self-sustaining black communities that control their own destiny: Own their own businesses. Fund their own projects. Control and protect their own vital interests. When we create the structure and foundation for a community that is governed from within the community, we not only help build a future for the community, but also, a future for ourselves as well. We want our company to be a true leader and we feel strongly that we are on theright path to success.and unorganized black communities take advantage of their collective political and economic potential.
